Google phone platform demo due Monday

FRANKFURT/LONDON (Reuters) - British chip designer ARM will demonstrate a prototype of Google Inc’s Android mobile phone platform in action next week at the world’s biggest wireless fair, a source close to the company said.

Google has established alliances with more than 30 carriers to develop Android which in theory, would open up a whole new field in programing and mobile application development. It would be exciting to see mobile open source development.
